not mattering

It doesn't matter that social media produces beautiful pages. It doesn't matter that someone thought it was their job to assemble your pictures and text into something beautiful. It doesn't matter that they thought they knew how to assemble text and pictures beautifully, and it doesn't matter that they were right. It is still not the developer's job to make your stuff beautiful. The developers job is this: to make it easy for you to build a page. What that page looks like - beautiful as a dream, or butt ugly - doesn't matter. That's your business, and the developer, by making it his business, makes a complete muddle of things.
